"Hotel Hermitage was a pleasant stay. Staff were friendly and helpful and the room was decently spacious. Parking was easy-on site. The property was generally well kept and clean.
The bathroom I had appeared to be relatively newly renovated, however it did need a new shower head as a lot of the rubber ends where the water comes out had calcified so the water pressure wasn't very good, or sprayed out in all sorts of directions.
Breakfast was a little bit underwhelming. It was basically bread and cereal with a bit of fruit that was not replenished while I ate there so I didn't get to have any.
I did not have a chance to use the outdoor facilities but they looked well kept.
Overall I enjoyed my stay aside from the shower head and breakfast."
"Giorgio was an excellent host, very kind and generous. He is naturally gregarious and comfortable chatting with the guests and speaks many languages. On arrival he gave us links to local restaurants and things to do. Massaria Luci Grande was beautiful, clean and cannot be faulted. We spent time around the pool which was fantastic and relaxing with sun loungers and parasols. The breakfasts were great with many of the items homemade - bread, jam, tomatoes, courgettes, in addition to croissants, yoghurt, fruit, scrambled eggs etc. 10/10. Would recommend this place for a relaxing stay but still close the local towns, restaurants etc. Location is great for visiting Gallipoli, Lecce and other parts of Solento."
