「The hotel is not nearly as beautiful as it is in the pictures. I am sure it was amazing 5 years ago but it has fallen into a bad state of disrepair. A colony of bats made a home inside and leave their droppings all over the hallway and in room #4 if you are lucky to get that one. Room #1 smelled of raw sewage.

From the perfectly temperatured clean pool, lush beautiful grounds, roomy nicely culturally styled rooms, to the delicious breakfast options and incredible menu throughout the day in the cute dining area, I had a wonderful stay! 「Relaxed beyond words during our stay @ Blue Reef. This place is a vibe…chill. Luxuries abound in our rooms (we stayed in the apartment). So much space for our family of 4 to really spread out and regroup after a week of safari in northern Tanzania. Snorkeling right from the hotel was perfect for the kids. The breakfasts were spot on for everyone in our group of picky eaters to find their favorites…GREAT COFFEE!!! The staff is laid back and welcoming while also taking care of business. We’ll be...
