"Great place away from Tokyo/Osaka big cities, 2 stops from Shizuoka Station and they have an open air shuttle to pick you up from the station. Our family was amazed from the moment we checked in, room was spacious, clean, amenities were top of the line, decor was serenity with original Japanese beams/doors. "Very comfortable extra large bed. It was a bit challenging to get the air conditioning to get a steady temperature so needed to adjust frequently. The lunch buffet was just okay and overpriced. But there are LOTS of food options and a supermarket just 2 minutes away. The hotel is literally just a few minutes from the train station. Our corner room was on the opposite side from the station and was really quiet."
