"Our family of four stayed at the Yawan hotel in December 2023. It is a dated hotel, as other reviewers mentioned, but my teenagers said that it was part of the hotel’s charm. Check in was easy, parking was across the street and plentiful. The rooms are definitely dated and smell a little musty but clean. Beds were comfortable. Although the name has “glass” in it, it’s actually not a glass bridge. In the middle of section of the bridge the floor is made of gridded steel (each grid is about 2cm by 2cm) which you can look through to the bottom. Don’t drop anything smaller than that! Has a nice mountain view on one side and city view on the other. On a nice sunny day you should be able to see Taipei city.
