  • An incredible motorcycle museum! I found out about the place after seeing it on various tv shows, American Pickers, Chasing Classic Cars, and Jay Leno's Garage, included. Once you get inside, you really don't know how you are going to take it all in. It is huge! All of the motorcycles run and during our visit, the curator was starting and taking random bikes out for a spin. A must see!

Great cozy stay

I really enjoyed our stay here. The beds were firm and comfortable, the hostess attentive and everything was so clean. I would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful Setting-Friendly People

Very nice older hotel-renovated. Beautiful, quiet area in a wooded area with a babbling brook a few steps from our room. Very Helpful staff.

Motel and the rooms are very clean and the beds are comfortable. Met the property owner and she was very nice and told us to call her if we need anything. Property is on a creek and the sounds were very pleasant. Maggie Valley is a cute town and would visit again and will definitely stay here.

We loved the fire pit. It was so nice sitting around it at night and talking with other guests. The owner was very informative about the area and shared stories around the fire. Will definitely be back!

Despite the challenges caused by the flood, they were swiftly bringing everything back together. In a time when good customer service is becoming rare, this team went above and beyond to ensure their guests felt valued. Our stay was truly enjoyable. Given a little time, they’ll get it all back to mint condition.

Front desk was excellent! Quaint little motel that has been remodeled and very clean! Love the mini split AC than makes zero noise and keeps you very cool. Beautiful creek out front with a fire pit and lots of seating. Will be coming back soon!

A great nights sleep

Maggie Valley was half way on a long trip ! I was able to find a nice meal and went back to my room to relax and sleep ! Best sleep I have had in a long time ! Very quiet with a flowing brook that was very relaxing !

Great place and staff

Where do i begin. This place is A quaint, clean, no frills motel. The staff was absolutely amazing!!!! We loved the creek in front and even though it is in the heart of Maggie Valley, you baredly hear any road noise. The rooms were basic, exceptionally clean, and comfortable. We will definitely be booking this place again!!!!

Heart of the valley is the best place we’ve ever stayed. You feel so welcome. Ever guest is friendly. They had bond fires everyone sat around the fire talking and laughing. Met some of the most wonderful people. Hope to see them all next year.

Hidden Gem in Maggie

This is a gem of a old school motel and has been recently renovated. It's nicely equipped with amenities. My only critique is sandpaper like towels and a very stiff mattress. Regardless of these critiques.... I would gladly stay again.

The lady who owns the motel is so so nice and inviting! There were vacant rooms during our stay, so she let my husband and I upgrade to a room with one king size bed vs 2 queen beds. Every time we saw her she asked if she could do anything for us. They also have their dog at the property (they live on site) and she’s the sweetest, friendliest dog ever!!! The rooms were also very, very nice and cozy. Would highly recommend!

Wonderful gem of a motel/motor lodge

Staying at this motor lodge was a unique and wonderful experience. The owner was a sweetheart and her dog, Bela, entertained me for well over an hour by fetching and taking treats I had packed for her because I had read reviews before I booked the room. The brook that runs the length of the property was just beautiful, as were the remainder of the motel grounds. This was a unique experience. I travel through Maggie Valley about 3 times per year. I promise you I will not stay anywhere else on any of those trips. It was like spending the night in a different era. Such a wonderful stay!

Nice!

I am glad I read the reviews. This is an older motel tucked back in the woods. A creek runs along the front. It’s clean, quiet and safe. And the rooms are updated for modern technology. There’s firewood provided for a fire and a big black lab to play with.
