Fantastic location, clean and comfortable, but it's a one-star hostal rather than 2.5 as advertised, and the description is misleading - it does not have 24 hour reception, and luggage storage is only available for free until 15.00.

This hostal is ideal if you want to be in the middle of the tourist area with everything on the doorstep. 1 minute from Sol metro. Very safe. Clean and well maintained. Lovely staff. Could not fault it. Would book again.

Stay overnight before taking a train from Atocha

The hostel was good for the price I paid and its location. However, it was kind of difficult to find it. Actually, you have to ring the bell at the door next to Taco Bell on the right (3rd floor) and announce yourself. They will let you in. The elevator is pretty old (the doors are opened and closed manually), but it functions well. There is no breakfast at the hostel, but you can find some places for breakfast nearby. The best thing for me was to stay close to the Sol (Renfe local train station), which has an elevator (for the suitcase), and then to travel easily to Atocha Train Station and take a long-distance train. I recommend this place to those who plan to take a long-distance train from Atocha.

Location, location, location! Hardest part was finding this unpretentious gem just off Pl. del Sol, center of town & transport hub. Once we found the doorway (sign is 3 stories up, the staff helped us in. Clean,comfortable rooms, center of town at your feet, groceries around the corner. What a nice find!

Ótima localização, limpo arrumado perto do metrô.

Eu e meu marido nos hospedamos no Hostal Aresol no período de 24/04 a 30/04/19 e ficamos bastante satisfeitos. Como o nome diz, é um hostal, um tipo de hotel mais simples, sem café da manhã e outras estruturas típicas de um hotel, mas com serviço de limpeza e arrumação de quarto. Ficamos num quarto de casal, com banheiro privativo, cama confortável, tv, ar-condicionado, aquecedor, banheiro completo (inclusive com secador de cabelo, duchinha ao lado do vaso e amenidades para banho), tudo era limpo e arrumado todos os dias. Não tinha frigobar. A localização é maravilhosa, bem no meio da calle arenal, rua turística, cheia de lojas e restaurantes, no 3º andar do prédio. Embora seja uma zona bastante movimentada, não escutávamos barulho da rua, pois a janela da varanda vedava muito bem. Fica bem próximo à estação de metrô Sol, nem 1 minuto caminhando, com acesso ao resto da idade, plaza puerta del sol, plaza mayor, teatro real, palácio real etc. No térreo do prédio, tem um restaurante chamado La Cueva, onde tinha café da manhã. 30 segundos caminhando, tem um maravilhoso café chamado La Mallorquina. Infelizmente não decorei os nomes dos proprietários, mas fomos sempre muito bem tratados por uma moça e um senhor que ficavam na recepção. Como nosso vôo era só às 23h30 e o checkout era às 12h00, guardaram nossas malas até a noite, sem nenhum custo adicional, e assim aproveitamos nosso último dia na cidade tranquilamente. Ganhamos uma lembrancinha no checkout. Recomendo.

Midt i smørøyet!

Kan ikke få et mer sentralt sted. Store, gode rom, men dessverre uten en lenestol. Det var reint, rommet ble tatt grundig annenhver dag, og det ble tømt søppel, ryddet og redd senger osv hver dag. Det serveres ikke måltider, men i gata nedenfor er det fullt opp av alternativer. Det vart gratis safe på rommet.
