"Amanda was lovely: very helpful and she made such delicious breakfasts every morning fresh. The house is charming. It feels like it’s in the middle of the quaintest tiny villages but Hartford is under 30 minutes away and New Haven was an easy 45 minutes. The bed was comfortable and the room was huge. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay."

"Had an issue with a stench in my room. Learned that dogs are allowed in the room I was staying in. All the first floors rooms of the hotel allow for patrons to have dogs in them. Spoke with the manager who was helpful and apologetic and will be offering a discount due to the issue. She said that numerous attempts were made to shampoo the carpet but the stench could not be removed. At the time of my check-in, no other rooms were avaliable. The hotel was fully booked. I appreciated her efforts despite the issue."
