The property was decent. However, at least one front desk staff member was unfriendly and did not provide a welcoming experience. They also did not clearly explain the room location, breakfast area, or available amenities. As a result, I noticed several guests struggling to find and understand the property's amenities.

We only stayed one night but it would have been great if we stayed longer. Our room was facing the beach with a nice balcony in the room had a lot of amenities that would make a longer stay nice, such as a refrigerator, microwave, etc. I would definitely stay there again.

This was a fun location on a beach in Mackinaw City. We had a balcony room with a beautiful view. An added surprise was fireworks over the Lake - and it wasn't even the Fourth of July. It's walkable to everything in town.

Check in was easy. The hotel is adjoined to the Hamilton Inn and the daily breakfast was a short walk next door to the Hamilton Inn. Large dining area and good selection for breakfast. Only served 7am-9am. Direct access to the beach was nice to go relax and look for rocks. The hotel is within walking distance to Sheplers, Mackinaw Crossings, and many restaurants/activities. Hotel was clean, could use some new screens and sliders on the balcony.

The place has a great price value ratio, the staff at the reception could be friendlier but the not-too-welcoming communication style was similar across Mackinaw City so it might not be the hotel’s fault. The place has excellent location, right at the port to Mackinac Island, free parking and buffet breakfast. Overall, I recommend it.

The rooms were nice and clean, and the view from the balcony overlooking the lake was great. Plenty of parking. The only negative was the pool and whirlpool. Pool was too chilly and didn't seem to be that clean, and whirlpool was not working....although water in it.

Door to the room scratched so hard on the threshold that it was creating a groove into threshold. Bottom of door was held together by drywall screws. Also, there was a wash cloth draped over the shower curtain rod from a previous guest. Other than that, it was decent.
