No hardwired smoke detector in room only empty place where battery one should be and windows have bars on them. I would think this would be illegal!! Hot and cold taps in kitchen wrong way round. Laundry was filthy and had to ask to have machine cleaned before I could use it. General room was grotty and bowls in cupboard. Highly disappointed

Friendly check in. Very loud with traffic from the highway and could hear people next door. Bed was uncomfortable and overall it was outdated. The air con was locked at 25 degrees which made the room too warm.

Nice and comfy

Nice place. Comfy beds. A bit aged and they had toys in the pool but when my grandkids wanted to play with them they told them they were not allowed as it was dangerous. If this is the case then don’t put them in the pool.

We are three lawn bowlers, and have stayed here every year for the past 3/4 years, and will continue to stay here as long as we are able to bowl, and keep coming back to Mackay. We are always warmly welcomed.

Huge rooms

We stayed here one night passing through and we were pleasantly surprised. The room was well priced and very spacious, the beds were comfy and clean. The bathroom was clean and functional with plenty of hot water available. The ONLY drawback was the presence of road noise however this did settle down through the night. We certainly slept well and felt safe.

a nice budget option for families on a budget, facilities are aged, but clean and tidy. The 2 bedroom unit had a queen and single bed in the back room, and another queen and single bed in the main room that's shared with the kitchen, lounge and dining areas. Good location on Nebo Road, with easy access.
