「This was one of my favorite hotel stays ever. Our room was so comfortable and beautiful, and falling asleep to the sound of the river was a magical way to experience this area. I especially enjoyed how lovely the front desk staff (Milene and Enzo) were and Escarlet’s delicious cooking and wonderful service.」

「Very convenient location as the hotel is in close proximity to the train station and bus station going up to the Machu Picchu. Room spacious and comfortable. Yummy breakfast with comparatively many varieties of food.」

「I came to Hacienda Roman knowing that in this part of Peru, you can't expect all the amenities like WiFi, cable TV, etc. If you go in with reasonable expectations, you'll be happy with this hotel. The pros: Staff are quite nice. Food is tasty and available fresh on site. Personal attention, especially the tour of the coffee/jungle out back, is phenomenal. The entire stay was worth it just for this!! The cons: Cooking is unbelievably slow; it took us no less than 1.5 hours to finish a meal...
