Our room was so full of mold and mildew it was hard to enter it. Water seemed to seep onto the bathroom floor. All our clothes reeked of mold so we had to wash them when we got to Cusco. They staff were great but I would never recommend a stay here.

Overall the stay was about as expected; fairly clean and comfortable, good value for the price. Very friendly and accommodating staff and location was also good.
The employees were very helpful accommodating us last minute as our previous reservation fell through. They remembered our names and gave us recommendations of things to do etc. Rooms are small but more than adequate as you should be spending all your time out adventuring! If you are looking for a reasonably priced, modest, friendly place to stay, this is it.
Fantastic experience! Staff was wonderful! They met me at the train station and walked me to the hotel, let me check in early at no cost, remembered my name and greeted me my whole stay. I felt special. They really care. The staff helped explain Machu Picchu to me and gave me suggestions on how to best spend my time there. If I am ever back in Aguas Calientes, I am going back to Machu Picchu Guest House!

A motel rather than a hostel. Fantastic location in the restaurant area. Friendly staff who speak good English. Rooms modest but clean. Breakfast ok. Easy walking to market and train station in about 5 mins. No need for taxis in such a small place. Owners will recommend goood restaurants. Overall a pleasant stay and would recommend to others

pessoal prestativo,banheiro ruim
We arrived for our check in after arriving in Cusco from the airport for the night , but somehow our reservation was lost in the fold , but the manager did everything in her power to not kick us out in the streets . She was able to accommodate a room for us even though she was really full . She was an extremely kind woman . I would recommend this hostal . Just know that it is not in the center of Cusco where plaza de armas is located but it shouldn’t matter . It’s an easy 5-10 min taxi ride to the plaza . No big deal . Usually about 5 sol per taxi ride . There are rooms with private and non private bathrooms .
Our stay was very nice! The staff was very friendly. We had some wishes for the room and we saw that they gave us that kind of room and that made us happy! The breakfast was good. The room was cozy and spacious.
