"The hotel is just a couple of meters away from a busy highway. In addition, it also hosts a club; this morning, there was music until 6am. The restau closes at 20.30, so we forced to drive someplace else to get something to eat. In summary: if you want to sleep well and are hungry sometimes, avoid this place!"

"La Villa Balat a beaucoup de charme, située le long et avec vue sur la Meuse et la Citadelle. Parking public aisé à proximité immédiat. "A comfortable hotel, but Hotels.com needs to make it clearer that this is one of those European hotels without staff, where one needs codes to enter the building and room. Unfortunately, the hotel never sent me the codes, and I stood outside the door for a good ten minutes before a kind passerby helped me by calling the hotel for me to ge the codes (my US phone doesn't work in Europe). Aside from that pretty major mistake, the room was fine."
