KUMSHEEN Rafting Resort
10/10 Excellent
"If you’re looking for a place to relax, unwind, and spend time with your family in a gorgeous setting-look no more! This is it.The tent cabins were huge compared to others we’ve been to, we were given cabin no5, which was a perfect size for our family of 5 with 3 teenage boys. The bedding was very clean, the beds were extremely comfy. The views were absolutely amazing! The pool and hot pool were well maintained, with clean water and no tiles missing. The food was also delicious, although you would have to preorder if wanted warm food from the restaurant. The bar at the reception had sandwiches that were delicious and surprisingly extra large size( our kids had to share one they were so big and consistent). The cappuccino we had at their bar was by far the best we’ve ever had!Our guide,Jasmine, suggested we should try a drink called “The confluence”-delicious! another must try!Being August with a fire ban we couldn’t use the firepit, but we were still busy playing beach volleyball on the provided courts, water polo in the pool ( they had life vests, water play toys in one bucket by the pool), chess/ checkers and other games. The washrooms were always clean, the hot showers with very good pressure. Things to keep in mind:yes, there are trains close by at night but they provide us with earplugs; we slept like a baby. Suggestion: when the beds reach their end of life-consider replacing them with ones without a foot-rail.The boys are over 6ft and found the length a bit snug."
The Mighty Fraser Motel
10/10 Excellent
"Friendly staff. The room was comfortable, fairly quiet and well equipped with a good sized fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and induction hot plate. The room was renovated for the most part but could use some better finishing and the TV channels were all fuzzy but otherwise a decent place to stay. I didn't get a chance to try the restaurant but was offered a complimentary beverage upon arrival which was nice. The air conditioner worker well."
Canyon Alpine Motel
10/10 Excellent
"A great place to stay while working in the Fraser Canyon. Very clean rooms, quiet place despite being beside the highway. Recommended for workers and travellers of all kinds."
