In the middle of renovations but workmen were courteous and noise wasn’t an issue. Two young women on the front desk were exceptional, very helpful and friendly. Location is excellent.

Although we were aware that there were renovations happening at the hotel we were not prepared for the amount of dust that we encountered. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were nice but some design flaws with the renovated rooms such as no shelf for your toiletries in the shower. After the workers were done for the day the common areas should have been cleaned or at least wiped down due to the amount of plaster dust. The elevator stops at half floors so you need to be able to carry your luggage. The location was amazing and the room was comfortable. I would stay here again after the renovations are completed.

We were a group of 19 who arrived while the hotel was renovating.we were not advised of the renovations beforehand although the hotel said emails were sent out. The hotel is a heritage building and needs the renovations. Many of the rooms were already renovated and were nice. Despite most of us paying the same price, there were big differences in the sizes of the rooms. Ours was particularly small. Because of the renovations in the common areas, there were workers and noise and lots of dust everywhere. Staff were apologetic and very helpful. AC was good.

This property is well priced and in a good location. Some things to look out for 1. Clean room but No coffee or tea in rooms. They don’t provide as per front desk staff. You are forced to either leave the hotel or buy their breakfast which is ultra basic. 2. OMG the noise from the street outside was insane. Drunks fighting all night. I mean all night. They were still there at 6:30 am. Insist that your room not face the ally or go somewhere else. There is a bar at the front of the hotel but you can’t hear that. Just the aftermath of the patrons leaving. Our room was upgraded recently so you can see they are investing in the hotel. Rooms are very small so if you can afford a bigger room do it. The WC was so small you can barely close the door and sit down on the toilet. No fan in bathroom . A construction toilet is roomier. It is small even for Europe. All I am saying is spend the money on a bigger room.

Great hotel with amazing location

Lovely modern hotel in a very convenient location. Simple but very nice breakfast and excellent and attentive staff. Beds very comfortable and bathroom modern and well equipped. Location is perfect, being a few minutes walk from Vieux Lyon as well as from all the best shopping areas

Welcome reception, assisted with our cases negotiating the stairs. Ideally situated for bars, restaurants and nightlife and very close to the pedestrian bridge over the river to the old quarter.

We really enjoyed our stay at Best Western St Antoine. Rooms were modern and clean, the folks at reception always greet you with a smile, the location is perfect for walking to Old Lyon and also accessible to many cuisines and shopping. Only thing to take note is the lift stops at half floors so you would have to take a flight of steps to your room. Highly recommended and would stay here again if we come back to this beautiful city!

Great hotel next to many restaurants and close to the old town. The staff were very kind. Lisa, who staffed the front desk, was always willing to help. She would get us ice and help us with directions. She was great!

magnificent location

We stayed at the apartment and it was very confortable. a couple od dsofas were quite old and run down but the large kitchen and spaciousness compensated in excess. Parking is quite far. the entry to the apartment on the side of the main hotel is quite ugly and the elevator minute, Burt again the apartment made it worth it to look away.

This is a budget hotel in a great location. The bed is not the most comfortable and we spent too much time killing mosquitos in our room. But the location is excellent, right close to old town in Lyon, and the price was very affordable. It had a nice comfortable shower. I marked it a 3 on cleanliness because we had so many mosquitos in our room not because it was dirty. It was clean.

Nice little hotel, would definitely return.

An excellent location to access everywhere in Lyon, the room was clean, bed comfortable and the shower powerful with extra pillows and a hairdryer already available in the room. Shower gel & hand soap provided. The receptionists spoke fluent English and were courteous and helpful. We didn't have the breakfast but a buffet stylen continental was available at an extra €14 each. The hotel was good value for money and we had an excellent stay. The only downside was the lift was extra slow but at least it had one!

My only complaint is that the street was blocked off with construction and we had to drag our bags a block to the taxi stand. We are in our 70s and that was very hard on us. If i had known, i would have picked a different hotel. Solely due to that. Otherwise, we really liked the hotel and staff!

Beds were terrible, hard, uncomfortable and the pillows like bricks. Didn’t help with the paper thin walls to carry the noise through from the corridor and neighbouring rooms. Tried to check in a little early as had been travelling all day and there was just no service on this, just told check in was 3pm. The hotel is in a really good location, need updating and made more French - we had a photo of Sydney opera house… use French landmarks instead.
