"Absolutely beautiful unique hotel with funicular going right to the hotel. Beautiful views of the city. Very good restaurant but insanely expensive (not unlike the rest of Switzerland). Only complaint is the lack of AC. Not great to visit during a heat wave, we were unable to sleep well in our room. They provided a small fan but it wasn’t sufficient in 30+ heat. Otherwise very nice."

"Very clean, comfortable and well appointed room. Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly. Our rooms had a lovely river view that made the terrace irresistible, especially at night. The location was great for sightseeing and enjoying restaurants. It was a great choice for us."

"Great location near the old town and in front of the water. The best part is that you can swim in the lake in front of the hotel. The hotel looks great but it feels to me some of the server lack training and perhaps the chain is getting bigger as it doesn’t feel special anymore. In other high end hotels the check in is special, here it feels like any other check in."
