"Great place to explore Luxor, Karnak and the valley of the kings. The staff is friendly and helpful. Directly opposite Luxor temple, so location is unbeatable.
Nice roof terrace to drink a couple of beers with amazing views of Luxor temple and the Nile."
"Everyone on staff was amazing. I asked for a birthday setup for my husband and they went above and beyond. The decorations were beautiful and cake was delicious. They also set up a beautiful rooftop dinner for us, just the two of us. It was so romantic with the view of the Nile and mountains. If we are ever back in Luxor, we will definitely only book this hotel.
Also the room was clean, bathroom had great amenities like a loofah. The ac worked great. They also upgraded our room with a mountain view free of charge. Clearly the owner and staff know how to operate a five star luxury hotel. Guests will not be disappointed!"
"This is a stunning hotel in the West Bank of the Nile in Luxor. The hotel offers a boat across to the east bank whenever you need it, which is super convenient. It is full of charm and the staff are lovely. The swimming pool is great and breakfast is plentiful. We stayed in the Lapis room which was lovely although the bed is small and quite hard! There may be other rooms with larger beds…?
The formidable Marina runs the place and she’ll tell you her fascinating life story. Note the hotel doesn’t serve alcohol (nor do most of the restaurants in Luxor) but there are a couple of ‘pubs’ on the east side."
"Just stayed for 8 nights. Good location. Staff very friendly. Food excellent. Decent gym ( new techno gym equipment and free weights up to 22kg and plants of resistance machines) open 24 hours and good sauna"
"Steigenberger Nile Palace exceeded my expectations. After a "so-so" Cairo/Giza hotel, I was pleasantly surprised by the real "upscale" experience—and for a very reasonable price, to boot! I opted for the "half board" option, and the dinners I had at both a-la-carte restaurants were hands down the best ones during my vacation. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone, but please keep in mind that "City View" rooms can be a little noisy, as Egyptian drivers are famous for "beeping" their way through..."
"this is a hole in the wall , definitely worth it to stay there, my room was clean , specious, good A/C , enough hot water , 8)
Mahmoud was very kind and helpful, rest of the staff very friendly as well. perfect for a short stay, for a family or solo female travellers. 10 minutes walk distance to the public ferry that takes you to the East side of town, only $25 egyptian pounds per person, restaurants everywhere west East of the Nile river , walkable from this hotel.
the road to get there is a little dusty, but heck, this is the desert 🌵 I would definitely be back to this hotel in a heart beat ."
