Check in was really easy as front desk is staffed. Corridors on the way to the room I did notice quite a few bleach stains on the carpets, but the room itself was clean. Close by places to eat and a bar downstairs. Parking for the night of our stay and also able to leave the car there for the duration of the holiday but paying a small fee which was really convenient.

Was only staying for a quick cheap stop on the way to London for a late check in and early start. Disappointed as the bar closes at 7 and that was one of the factors we decided to stay as we could just pop the bar when checking in for a quick drink before heading to bed for the early start. Price reflected hotel, room and decor but suited what we needed bar the bar being closed which was expected to be open.

Got ripped off from the hotel!

The place is old, but not an issue. But the sheets weren't really clean and found a pubic hairs on my pillow. I slept in my day clothes. The facilities had free parking. I parked and asked reception during check in if that's the right place to park and they advice me yes. After return home from my business trip, I get a parking ticket from the hotel. I provided my receipts and prove I actually stayed there but yet they still insist to charge me with debt collection. Two night stay was 140 pounds. The fine is 170 pounds, and with Eurocar admin charge 45 pounds. After repeated chasing with Eurocar & Hotels.com they still refuse to waive the amount. Want to get ripped off, this is a good place to start.

Friendly staff but the worst bed ever

Old hotel in dire need of refurbishment. Staff were friendly and helpful but it was without a doubt the worst bed I have ever slept on.

Did a 1 night stay here recently. Room was cold, radiator didnt work/come on. No radiator in bathroom so towels stayed damp & electrical sockets loose. Maybe i just had a bad room who knows but wouldnt recomend staying here given my experience.

This hotel should genuinely not be open to the public as it is clearly currently being used for housing refugees.

Really noisy neighbours (other guests). Not sure if this is a migrant hotel, but the guests were not very considerate, didn’t speak or understand English and were quite rude tbh. Stayed here for 2x 4 nights visits and will definitely NOT be staying again when in the area!!
