Shitty service

We'll u guys booked the room for me drove 3 hours to get there only find out motel was booked up said to they called u all too say no vacancies so at 2 o'clock n morning only motel found was over 40 more dollars so it sucked

Cheap Notell Motel

I noted motel was old upon entry so I wasn't expecting much, however, bed comforter had a lot of hair stuck in the fabric so I was immediately on alert. Peeled off covers and saw that sheets were clean which worked OK since A/C barely worked. Room was warm during whole stay. Room stayed about 75 degrees at max cold and it was only 80 outside during day, cooler at night but couldn't get temp down. Never did sleep good. Bathtub and bathroom had lots of caulk to fill old holes and patches. Carpet was old and questionable so I wore flip flops around like shower shoes. Would pay a few bucks more and stay at a different motel next time..

Barf

Dirty and dated. You also might be waiting outside surrounded by bugs waiting to check in if you get there in the evening. This place was made for hookers and Johns, not anyone who wants a good nights sleep and a shower in the morning.

Older peroperty, good budget deal.

Older property, worn and beat up but safe and quiet. Friendly and chill desk clerk. Room clean but worn. Negatives were room smelled like smoke, hard to regulate heat and hot water. Positives were friendliness of staff, price, and allowed to have dog. Bed very comfortable.

Didn't even stay don't know how beds were

Pulled in and it was run down. The person there was nice to give us a key to look at room. well it was extremely dated and smelled so bad I had to tell them I couldn't stay the smell was so bad, and flies in bathroom. Unfortunately I lost $54 because no refund. I would take this off your site. It's embarrassing !!

Good for a one-night cheap stay near Luray Caverns

We went to visit Luray Caverns and wanted a cheap hotel in the area to stay for one night. This hotel was just fine for that purpose. Bare minimum is what we were looking for and what we got, so no complaints. Run-down but clean and insect-free. Fridge, microwave, A/C, hot water, TV, WiFi. The key stuck in the lock and took us a few minutes to figure out, but no biggie overall. Staff was friendly.

Do not stay here.

The first room we were given had mold in the bathroom. Moved to another room, asked for a wake up call, they don't do that. No ice machine in working order, no cups in room, no fitted sheets on bed, just flat. No exhaust fan in bathroom, the shower head had some kind of build up on it, found a dirty sock on floor by bed. Requested my money back, non refundable. We are on a very tight budget so I did not have funds for another room. The motel did have a triple a rating from 2007. Another couple checked in when we did but did not stay because of the dirty pillows.

This hotel is a little ways from the interstate, down the road from cute old downtown New Market. Great service at a late hour. Amenities are run down and bathroom needs dusting and mopping, but overall clean and comfy.

I got what I paid for.

This is a low end place to stay. clean room but dated. The dead bolt did not work and when I pointed it out to the manager he said this is a safe neighborhood, and did not seem to care. So the regular door lock and a flimsy chain lock were all the security I had.

Dog is not a smoker ;)

On arrival the receptionist/owner was not too friendly. Signs all over the office about the $10 per night pet fee. When I informed her we had a dog she felt the need to gruffly state that there would be an additional fee... yeah I can read. She then returned the room key she already had out for us and grabbed one for a very smelly smoking room. In my opinion a dog does not equal smoking. You can vacuum dog hair not smoke. Had trouble sleeping and woke up wheezing the smell was so bad. Too bad could have been a cute place to stay otherwise.
