「Room 1 is extremely small, but was spotless and the bed extremely comfortable. There were too few staff. Service at dinner and the bar was very slow. Dinner wasn't as hot as it should have been. There was too much food on a small plate, I had to hunt under the chicken for my vegetables! Overall, it's quite expensive for food that although was delicious it wasn't hot and not served in a timely manner.」

The room was clean and of a good size, a very comfortable stay and the staff could not be more helpful. This property is also very pet friendly. Highly recommended 」

「Beautiful hotel, second time staying for one night, breakfast included, evening meal have to book separately which was easy to do. Everything about this hotel, location, availability of rooms, staff and food was truly amazing. We will be booking again, probably near Christmas time.」

「Lovely decor in the hotel. Our suite was gorgeous. We ate in the restaurant and it was lovely, great menu. The pub is very cosy, very relaxed feel to it.」

「The exterior of the hotel is lovely but once inside it’s very tired. The carpets are worn and stained. No air con or phone in the room. The tea/coffee was not refilled during the service. There is no lift in the section of hotel I was staying. The windows didn’t open much and the was no fan available. It was convenient for where I wanted to be. The staff I dealt with are very pleasant and there’s a large car park.」

「Really good location for the town. You can park on the garden street car park, you pay 8-8 and free over night. The accommodation is lovely, it’s clean and has everything you need. Breakfast was really nice and fresh. Would def return. The restaurant next door, is 15% off with your hotel door key. The burgers are to die for!」

「The few lovely staff are coping with a sadly run down building which must have been magnificent in its day. There is no longer a restaurant or bar and the drive has huge poorly filled pot holes. Such a shame」
