"Location perfect for our group get together - 30 mins stroll into Skipton.
Breakfast good however staff need more training in replenishment of items
Dinner OK - very expensive for what it was as were drinks. Service not great as order taken incorrectly meaning one of our group got his meal later than the rest - they didn't charge him for it.
Reception staff very good & helpful"
"This is my second stay in this beautiful accommodation. The room was perfect, the breakfast excellent, the location so handy, and the car park close by. Don't miss an opportunity to stay here!"
"Working in area. Booked single room. Absolutely appalling, old room furniture damaged cupboards don't cliseonly able to open window and inch. Bathroom had shower sink and toilet great powerful shower but had to dry in the bedroom as no space had to turn sideways to pass the sink. Asked for a different room non available. Fair enough. Went to breakfast next morning which was fabulous and accomodating. Although continental breakfast not displayed as low numbers in the hotel. Hmmm. Enquired and explained my concern and got a different room that day. Amazing room lovely spacious bathroom. Thank you. In a nutshell the single room occupancy in my opinion is not fit for purpose. Real shame as staff were lovely and last night slept soundly."
"Hard to find, post code didn't help. Had to phone Paula who said not to use postcode and put in full named address which worked fine. Maybe add this to the description.
Room was lovely, great breakfast and Paula was genuinely friendly. "
"Superb in every way!
Friendly greeting, efficient check in. Car parking easy and handy and free!
The hotel is simply beautiful, nicely decorated throughout with thoughtfully placed items which give the hotel real character. Our room was spacious with everything you needed, tea and coffee making facilities, water, wi fi, hair drier, a good sized bathroom with a HUGE bath to soak in after a day exploring!
Breakfast was one of the best we have had! All fresh ingredients cooked to order!
Perfect! "
"The hotel was easy to find and quite central for Keighley and venturing further afield. The car park is tucked behind the back, not so great. Although the staff were friendly and helpful at breakfast which was really cooked nice and tasted great, I found the lack of a reception quite unusual. Our room was comfy and clean but the shower was quite poor, an over bath one which was not very powerful. It says it is quirky, very true but also quite dated."
"We had a wonderful stay at this cottage. The location is perfect, sitting right on the local canal in a very picturesque village. The local church bells add such a lovely, traditional touch to the stay. We also spent some time at The White Lion pub, which we’d definitely recommend to other travelers. A very peaceful and authentic experience."
