「Our family had a wonderful experience at the Lakeside Country Cottage - it's private and very comfortable, on a beautiful small lake. Our son enjoyed fishing right off the dock and caught two largemouth bass - he was very excited! We also loved taking the canoe out and just hanging out by the water. 「This was our first visit to Elijay and overall my family and I enjoyed our stay especially the balcony view. However there are two situations that were not so good for us. Although we paid our pet fee $75 please be aware that if you take your pet make sure he is not a barker because the neighbors around the property were exaggerated and inconvenienced by a few barking episodes from our pet. 「The room was ideal for a group of friends attending Helen's Oktoberfest events. The hotel is within walking distance to the downtown area, but is secluded from the noise and traffic. The grounds are beautiful and the area around Helen is great for hiking. The room was perfect for our purposes and easily fit six people with the benefit of two bathrooms and a full kitchen.」

「Great value, private and lots of room! This was for a short trip to Helen for 2 nights with 4 adults and 3 kids. The villa was perfect with 2 large bedrooms with queen beds and a loft with 2 twins--one child is only 4 and sleeps on a mat on the floor when we travel. 2 full baths were great. The location is great, very close to downtown Helen so we could go do something and get back the villa easily. The villas do have dated decor but that's not a big deal.
