Welcome to the sleepy town of Luneburg. The room was very homey with a/c. This hotel is in a perfect location to go exploring on foot. The selection for breakfast has many good choices. I had the best schnitzel in the restaurant on this trip to Germany. Thankfully this charming town wasn’t destroyed by the war.

Excellent hotel! Pure luxury + friendly staff

Fantastic hotel - pure luxury, and great location, too. Very nice staff, excellent surroundings. Only downside might be the proximity to the water works (a dam), which MIGHT be a problem if you are very sensitive to sound. Turned out not to be a problem for us, though.

I booked a suit but the hotel reception gave me a 4 th floor without elevator, far from amenities, view to tree rather than other rooms view to river. No water in room , kettel was dirty and rusted.

Sehr geehrte Damen und Herren, ich mich zunächst direkt an das Hotel (Bergström) gewandt, obwohl ich die o. g. Übernachtung über Expedia gebucht habe. Um Ihnen meine Verstimmung über den Zustand des von mir, bereits vor Monaten, gebuchten Hotelzimmer zu untermauern, habe ich nur eine kleine Auswahl von Bildern dieser Mail angefügt. Bisher dachte ich, dass der Preis des Hotelzimmers, sowie das auf Webseite präsentierte/dargesellte Ambiente und Ihre Sternqualifizierung, ein Garant für eine angenehme Hotelübernachtung ist. Ihr Haus hat mich leider eines Besseren belehrt. Die Möbelirrung ist die Jahre gekommen (Betten ausgelegen, Sofa u. Sessel befleckt), die Heizkörper mit Staubflusen, an allen Fenstern Schimmelansatz, Badezimmerfliesen abgeplatz, sowie Schimmel Silikonecken der Badezimmerfliesen und in der Duschkabiene. Sehr, sehr unappetitlich. Statt mit Hundefreundlichkeit (Hundeleckerlie im Eingangbereich), sollte sich Ihr Haus mehr auf Hygienestandards konzentrieren. Ich kann meine Behauptung mit Bildern u. Videos jeder Zeit belegen! Mir/ uns fehlen da wirklich die Worte. Michael Möller

Das Zimmer war sauber, und wir hatten Glück, dass es zusätzlich mit einem kleinen Sofa und Sitzecke ausgestattet war. Die Matratzen verursachten ein leichtes wegrutschen zur Seite. Die Toilettenbürste hätte mal ausgetauscht werden sollen. Einrichtung im Hotel und auch im Restaurant sind zwar in die Jahre gekommen, aber durchaus akzeptabel. Leider hörten wir von der oberen Etage laute Schritt Geräusche im Zimmer. Ärgerlich war, dass der Pool nicht benutzbar war. Dieser war ein Kriterium zur Auswahl des Hotels. Die Lage des Hotels ist super und die Stimmung durch die schöne Adventsdeko sehr schön.
