Absolutely loved it. Best place I have ever stayed hands down. Staff was amazing, house was beautiful, and breakfast was amazing. My only complaint is I can’t get back fast enough!! Do not hesitate to book, you bill not regret it!

Staff was attentive, responsive and out of the way. Room was tidy, classy and a nice size. Bathroom was clean and very nice. Sitting areas were cozy and snacks, beverage choices were available.

As parents who were able to arrange for a sitter so we could have a relaxing overnight getaway - a B&B seemed the natural choice. The property was convenient and comfortable - it met or exceeded all of our expectations. The unexpected frustration - this Bed and Breakfast is apparently not adult only. It’s my own fault for not noticing; I just assumed. It was very noisy being a very old house with several children running around not only their rooms, but also up and down the charmingly creaky/loud hallway and staircases. Great potential here but for us it missed the mark on quiet and relaxing.

ONly issue was they said we would have breakfast brought to our room by 9:00. By 9:20 it was still not there and we had to leave. Really need to stick to a schedule for those traveling

We loved it! The house is so cool with a lot of history. The service was top notch and the breakfasts were out of this world! We would definitely stay here again, No doubt!

We booked this property based on the No Pets designation on Expedia. The breakfast server brought her dog into the dining room and went table to table, petting her dog right next to and over patrons, while everyone was eating their breakfast. We were appalled on many levels, mainly because we (and our family) have severe animal allergies. The food was delicious but her actions ruined it. The loft room was spacious and wonderful for families. Our shower however, stopped flowing when I had just applied conditioner. My husband had his “shower” by way of the kitchen sink. We would’ve alerted the innkeeper to the shower issue but we had to get on the road. On the positive side, everyone was welcoming, it was clean and the location was convenient to downtown and the waterfront.

Hello Laura,I’m sorry for any misunderstanding. We are a pet friendly establishment and have ourselves listed as such on Expedia. Our Innkeeper’s dog is hypoallergenic and she only brings her out after breakfast is served upon request from guests. I appreciate you still being able to recognize our positive aspects of a delicious meal, clean rooms and a kind staff. I’m sorry to hear about the water pressure we are looking into what caused that.

Very rundown from the outside, booked for 2 nights but didnt want to stay second nite, squeaky floors , at night radiator started working loudly. Would like to get a refund for the second night. Very different from the picture

The Inn is nice! The Inn keeper was wonderful with special request. However if you try to reach the mgmt company good luck! Left vm and sent email several days before booking. No reply to either.

Liked the historical nature of the property, with great finished wood architecture, pocket doors, wood floors, etc. Master suite bathroom clean and nicely functional. Excellent breakfast! Enjoyed our stay. A few items to note. The master suite is roomy and special with the king size bed, but on Tuesday, a nearly full moon in the evening/night really lit up the room through the full turret windows. Difficulty getting to sleep with that much light in the room, as the curtains did not block light very well. Suggest light blocking curtains or pull shades for customers when needed. Only other issues with the room is that it faces directly on Ludington Avenue with a traffic light at the corner intersection. A lot of road noise was the result. This suite also has a bedroom #7 above it that may sleep up to 5; so we had noise from that direction as well. It is helpful for the B&B owner to let people know which rooms are quietest within the description of available rooms. That way we aren't surprised. Overall, good stay!

A great spot for a weekend away! We (a couple in our 50's) enjoyed the house and the wonderful breakfast with other guests in the dining room. The location is excellent - a few blocks from many restaurants, shops, and parks.

We really enjoyed our stay. The home is beautiful and comfortable, felt like we were staying with family. Breakfasts were amazingly delicious and filling! Staff were polite and friendly. Our room was so pretty and we slept well on the king size bed. We were able to walk in to Ludington to shop and dine. We also walked down to Lake Michigan although that was a bit further. The garden area was wonderful to sit in and relax, very peaceful. We did bring a fan with us to help with any outside street noise but really didn’t notice it much. We spent three nights and really enjoyed our stay. There are two staircases, the main staircase was easier to use. The back staircase is narrower and steeper. Only one bedroom is on the main floor.

The Inn was lovely, historic home. We had the loft room and is was wonderful for our family. Staff was attentive and courteous. Location was great for exploring the town and very near the park where market day was.

We enjoyed the beauty of the old house. The garden was lovely with many flowers and tiny lights, making it a peaceful retreat. The hot breakfast was different every day, and the staff was very careful to adhere to dietary restrictions.

Breakfast was amazing, historical home was very well kept and clean. We stayed in room #6 with 2 queen beds. Room was very large and quiet. Bathroom, was connected to room with an extra sink in main room. Will definitely stay again if in area!

It was a nice place to relax and we enjoyed that it was close to downtown. Breakfast was wonderful and the room was pleasant - could use room darkening shades as the sun was up way before we wanted to be but other than that we enjoyed our stay and the staff was friendly, nice and helpful.

Large spacious loft with plenty of beds and a kitchen. Wonderful baked breakfasts can be taken in dining room or room and plenty of cereal boxes for the younger kids. Clean and hosts that would do anything to assist and only a text away.

Quaint B&B, bed was comfy, close to shopping and the downtown area and only a short drive to the lake, staff was friendly, the breakfast was good, all in all we really enjoyed our stay at the Inn.
