「Just finished a lovely stay at this charming boutique B&B. Lots of small touches demonstrate the offer has been really well thought through from perspective of someone staying. Highlights were a generous breakfast in the light-filled dining room/common area with plant baskets suspended from the ceiling and some excellent local recommendations at check-in. Delighted to have found the Layhead and would absolutely stay here again.」

「We booked a Superior Double Room based on the Expedia advertisement that we would have a balcony or patio. Once we arrived, we were informed that the Superior Double Rooms have a balcony OR bathtub, and we were put in a room with a tub. I had also messaged the property to ensure we had a balcony/patio and to check on parking. They never responded, and when we arrived the staff informed us that the person who responds was off that day. Buyer beware…check out the hotel on their website and call if...

「We had very nice stay in Hotel zur alten Stadtmauer. Hotel people and breakfast are very good. And the bed is comfortable. Just one small thing. Our room is in the ground floor, and the bathroom is down in the basement. Though the bathroom is cute and functional, but the layout had few inconveniences for us, because it needed us to go down and up while we're in the room very naturally. But probably this type of layout is quite normal in Lubeck. Suggest the hotel owner could advise the guest in...

「Ruhiges Zimmer mit guten Matratzen. Etwas sehr kleine Waschbecken werden angeblich gerade ausgetauscht. Da keine Klimaanlage im Zimmer kann es sehr warm werden. Leider auch kein Kühlschrank oder Eiswürfelmaschine vorhanden. Gutes einfaches Frühstück mit frischen Zutaten. Kostenloses Parken direkt am Hotel.」

Das Zimmer war ok, aber bei weitem nicht so komfortabel und schön eingerichtet wie es auf den Fotos zu sehen war. Keine 4 Sterne. Frühstück war insgesamt gut, allerdings würde ich bei 4 Sterne plus auch frischgemachtes Rührei erwarten und nix aus der Packung. Deshalb insgesamt nur 3 Sterne.」
