「A lovely, well equipped cottage, ideal for 1-2 people, nicely tucked away in a village that has so much going on. Clean, comfortable and a lovely welcome basket from the owners. The small kitchen area has everything you need, the decor is lovely and the lighting is great. The woodburner is left ready to light, though I didn’t need it. There is lots of local information left by the owners, who are very friendly and welcoming.」

「On arrival the radiator wasnt working so the lovely host moved rooms and couldnt do enough to make sure i was ok. Then threw in a couple of free beers. The staff working literally couldnt do enough to help」

「We went for a family stay and it did not disappoint! Warm cosy and we were welcomed with fresh bread and treats left for us. Karen came down to check everything was ok. They also cleared snow from the awning over the hot tub! Great hosts this is are 2nd visit as a family 」

「Very spacious well equipped cottage situated just off the main street of Barnard Castle right by the parish church. We were able to check in early, which was a big help, and when we arrived we delighted to see how spotlessly clean it was.
