Bernard in particular was fantastic, especially his cooking — we had both dinner and breakfast there. Very glad we chose this over the ‘grand hotel’ in the end. "

A beautiful train journey through the rolling hills of Sri Lanka's enormous tea plantations. I took this train ride from Nuwara Eliya to Ella which took about 3 hours, and less than 300 rupees- third class is worth the mild discomfort for the people you meet.
