「We stayed for 2 nights.
The front desk staff was very friendly and even let us check in earlier than 3 p.m., saying our room was already prepared — that part was great!
However, the room was not clean at all. We could find the previous guests’ hair anywhere, and even a chocolate wrapper they left behind. This is the first time I’ve stayed in a room without boxed tissues, a refrigerator, or even a trash can (or bag) in the bathroom. Very disappointing!

「The listing failed to state that an expensive cleaning fee would apply and we were advised of this by the hotel after the cancellation period had ended. 「This hotel was beautiful! Nestled in a quiet part of town but close to the tram/bus and very walkable. Most comfortable bed I’ve slept on in a while! Loved the mini kitchen, too - bought breakfast items I stored in the fridge, then used the microwave to heat them in the morning. Was able to keep leftovers as well in the fridge. Quiet and very private with beautiful porch overlooking the street.
My one hang up is that the stairs were carpeted and thus looked pretty dirty. I also wish there was...
