「The entrance to Lough Eske Castle is a facade that was built sometime in the late 1800s. This is important because it looks like something out of someone's Disney fantasy. If you're looking for a 5-star historically relevant architectural site, this is not for you. We had room 248. It was literally a 3000 step walk each way to the restaurant from our room. Not for the mobility impaired. The vibe was very much corporate hotel, the kind that wants bang for its buck. The rooms were cheap and room...

「The breakfast menu was amazing and the bar offered a great selection of drinks. Our room was lovely. Very comfortable. There is a walled garden and historic out buildings. The property is very historic and it has a lot of charm. It has a great atmosphere. It was nice to talk to John at the bar and other guests. So friendly.」

「While the room was clean, you could tell there were some areas that need updating. Also, if traveling with luggage there are a lot of stairs to carry luggage up and down. Another thing to note is that you walk in to a restaurant, but it is where you check in to the hotel. A bit on the odd side.」
