「The entrance to Lough Eske Castle is a facade that was built sometime in the late 1800s. This is important because it looks like something out of someone's Disney fantasy. If you're looking for a 5-star historically relevant architectural site, this is not for you. We had room 248. It was literally a 3000 step walk each way to the restaurant from our room. 「Loved our stay here. My only concerns were the difficulty to find parking nearby and the check in process was a little confusing since you have to run across the street to pick up the keys. Also, the building is sandwiched between 2 other buildings and was hard to find.」

「Easy to find - we took the bus, was just up the block . Great location . Hosts friendly. Breakfast really good . Booked 2 rooms with shared bath. did not realize it was shared with everyone . But there were multiple bathrooms available so was not an issue . Would recommend 😊」

「Only real issue involves room doors that have a strong shutting mechanism. Obviously too much for many guests. We managed to close our door without banging...... apparently, too much effort for many others resulting in loud door banging into the night and then early morning. No fault of the hotel just inconsiderate fellow guests!」
