"Slow and arduous check in process. Not only do they manually inspect your credit card, they run a $1 charge on it for all 3rd party bookings. The food is lacklustre. Even the gallo pinto was burned. "We were surprised at our room - this is a place we could live in. It has a beautiful view of the ocean and the tidal slough, it's quiet, it has a nice kitchen, and is laid out well. The restaurant was nice and the staff friendly. We had 2 pools to choose from, and took advantage of them every day. The grounds were very pretty and well-maintained. It was easy to get in and out and conventient to stores and sights in Puntarenas."
