"A great place to stay in the Santa Cruz mountains. A little tricky to find and get to with winding mountain roads and no signs but that is part of getting away from everything and hanging with the chicks and ducks and geese all a-clucking. Fully stocked bar and kitchen made it so easy to just have fun. The dozens of huge koi fish will practically climb out of the pond when you start feeding them, and the chickens seemed to like Fritos. "I had an excellent stay, everything was top notch. The staff, the facility, the amenities, the location, the staff were all wonderful.. I stayed 5 nights and I loved the noon checkout on the 6th day."
"Room was clean. We were traveling with our dog and so we were in a pet room and it does have a residual pet smell. Also no AC so at night the room got incredibly hot and stuffy. The only option was to open the slider but being on level 1 - it felt a little unnerving to sleep with just the screen. And then in order to feel the breeze, you have to open the curtains which then made it bright early in the morning and you could hear the early golfers out very early. So not a great night of sleep. But otherwise amenities were nice and location very convenient to the beach and golf course."
