Dear Expedia Support,
I am submitting a formal complaint regarding my stay in Los Angeles (June 12–15, 2025) due to multiple severe safety and service failures.
1. My child was injured in the hotel room – on June 13, while lying on the bed, my son sustained a bleeding facial injury due to dangerous furniture (bed structure or sharp edges). The bedsheets were stained with blood. I have attached photos.
2. On June 14, when we returned late at night, we were locked out of our room. There was no staff on-site, and only a handwritten note said “Front desk on break until further notice.” We waited outside for 3–4 hours with a child, unable to access our room.
3. The property was completely insecure – the exterior doors were left open to anyone, and there was no security or staff to control access. Anyone could enter from the street. This created a serious safety risk, especially at night.
I tried to contact Expedia via chat multiple times, but your agents either ignored the issue or disconnected the conversation without resolution.
I am requesting a FULL refund of $816.91 and a formal investigation into this property. It was unsafe, unmanaged, and dangerous for families.
Please respond urgently.
