THE GOOD: staff (maybe family owned?) is friendly and helpful, despite a significant language barrier, the location near Rose Bowl Stadium is good and an easy Uber, and it's across street from Trader Joe's to buy breakfast stuff and wine, cuz you're gonna need it. THE BAD: the place is old, the room is small, the bed is rock hard with two small flat pillows on a king size bed, the bathroom does not have a single electrical plug, there is no light in the tiny shower that has mold in it, there is nowhere to put your suitcase as the room is too small. No closet or dresser, the tv is mounted up in the corner and ruins your neck if you try to watch it, no hair dryer in the room, although they gave me one when I asked for it, but it was a typical hotel dryer that should be mounted on the wall, so i plugged it in and the base of it just dangled on the wall while I used the dryer.
I am not a hotel snob and I really try to see the good in places, but this one, even at the price, will not be seeing us again.
