Would pass over
The room was shabby, broken furniture, rickety tiles, choppy internet, grouchy workers. With that, the room seemed clean, the bedding was clean and so were the towels. Everything else was really banged up. The pool was not useable, dirty and really, really small.

Location wise is was great because we were walking distance from the boulevard and 20mins away from Venice. The app should it offers breakfast but it don’t. The beds were hard and the towels were thin. We waited til last minute to book a room this place was our best option cost wise. The window was next to a tree and wouldn’t lock and had barricades on it.

The gentleman at the front desk was nice enough to let us check in. When entering we noticed a lot of flaws in the room. When telling the gentleman about these damages he was like “oh im sorry, i tried to give you the best room.” If thats the best room i wonder what the other rooms looked like.

Everyone was very helpful and nice, I was treated very good, I used this hotel last year also and I will continue to use it when I make my trips to Los Angeles. I feel safe here and even though I don’t use there parking lot there are cameras there. This is a very safe and reliable hotel.

When I booked the room I called to make sure my kids and I could check in at midnight. When we arrived they claimed to not have my reservation on file and my kids and I slept outside. I have 9, 11, and 12 yr old daughters that slept outside last night cause the roadway inn did not honor your reservation. Thanks a lot. I worked all day just to sleep outside last night.

Decent place with great location
Had a great time at this Hotel/Motel. It's a decent place but the location makes up for any negatives. Would recommend this location if you are looking for a place in Hollywood/LA on a budget.

when i checked in the person at the desk was not very friendly. The parking lot was tiny and had to park at the next motel. there were renovations going on and it was noisy very early. The breakfast was a stale croissants and a box of cereal. the room itself was clean. the beds were hard as a rock.

Not worth it!
Zero customer service. Outlets do not work. Horrible breakfast items. This is a rundown hotel with terrible staff. Beware of the $10 parking they asked in addition to what you’ve already so called paid fully for via Hotels.com. We will definitely not come back even if the location is close to Hollywood.The water also was not functioning properly.

OK hotel with a great location
The proximity of this motel to the main attractions of Hollywood Blvd and reasonable price were our selling points. The motel is in the average to above average range. The rooms were clean and fairly comfortable, and the overall property is well maintained. On-site parking is a bonus, although it came at a nominal fee compared to other area lodging. The continental breakfast was nothing to write home about, maybe below average for what most locations offer. Overall, I wouldn't be opposed to staying here again if the price was right. The staff members were kind and you just can beat the location.

The property is in drastic need of updating. Our room was dirty. The walls had cobwebs and stains on them and the bathroom door handle was covered in white paint. We were also charged $10 per day to park in a dirt parking lot/alley between the Rodeway Inn and the Budget Inn (next door)....over $30 in additional fees to park in the dirt!!!!!

First of all, this "no visitors" policy being adopted/enforced throughout this city is out of control - just plain rude, obtrusive and above all despicable. That noted, this hotel room was severely bed bug ridden and how that goes unnoticed and is furthermore neglected is appalling. I get the eebie jeebies just reflecting on the memory - with every itch. And there are about 200 bites on my body to speak of. Yeah they feasted on my sleeping self. And it was just me. No guest permitted.

First off the parking, there was no parking at the hotel, had to park next door at Budget Inn, was a very shady area, felt like parking in an alley. The bathtub was dirty, didn't even seem like it's been washed for a while, the door had a big gap, didn't close all the way, and the ac didn't seem to be working correctly, room didn't seem to be getting fresh at all.

Great location and one has to be realistic when a property is a 2 star. However, the hotel is advertised with having a gym which is untrue. On day of checkout we had a late flight and asked if our luggage could be held/stored. We were told that it is hotel policy to not hold luggage which in this industry is very poor and left us disappointed

It has a great location just a block or so from Hollywood and Highland! The room was clean. The bed is not comfortable and left our backs hurting after a few days of sleeping on it. The A/c is hard to regulate, its either hot in the room or very cold. But over all its a great place to stay for a few days. For the price its perfect!

The front desk staff was out of it. I tried to check in early and was told very rudely that check in time was at 3 and there were absolutely no early check ins. When i came back at 3 it was the same young man and he was on his phone the whole time he was checking me in. Upon check out the man at the front desk was asleep! The door to my room had a lock that didn't work so i felt a bit uneasy about that. The parking situation was bad as there weren't enough spaces for as many rooms as they had. The maid was very nice and very accommodating tho! Overall the motel was updated and clean and one of the nicer ones in the area, but was in NO way worth almost $400 for two nights!!

Location good, experience ok
Staff was just short of rude- not very helpful, but handled check-in/out fine. Hotel is much more rundown than the photos show, but it is clean! The linens were spotless. Beds were not comfortable, and the water pressure was low, but if all you need is a place to lay your head this will suffice. "Contintental breakfast" is a stretch- prepackaged gas station food- and the milk sat out on the counter for the full 2 hours (bacteria anyone????) and staff wouldn't put it on ice. By the way, ice is not free either- 50 cents per bucket. The rooms did have a fridge and microwave and nice tv, so that's a plus. Location was good as well if you're going for Universal Studios- lots of fast food and shopping in the area too. Pool is very small, but there is at least a pool. Parking lot very small and very tight, but we did have parking whenever we came back. Not sure if we'd come back again. Price was ok for what we got, but was not impressed with staff.
