I loved how cute the courtyard was in front of our motel and how good the room was. Additionally, I really loved the hotel manager! She was very nice and made us feel welcome. I’d definitely recommend anyone looking to stay in the area books a room here.

A fine motel. Manager very helpful and friendly. Rooms clean and comfortable, albeit a bit on the small side. Walkable (15-20 mins) to Santa Monica pier area so convenient in that respect. A little expensive - but good value relative to other much more expensive options in the area.

Sweet and friendly host. Good location. Quiet. Easy parking on site. It would be really nice to have a microwave in the room, had to eat out. Got a nasty bug bites during the night, maybe mosquitoes, not sure.

We had an appointment so are stay was only overnight. It was quiet. The room was comfortable.The gentleman that owned the property was very friendly.. I would stay here again.

Comfortable stay for the night
It was comfortable for a nice night away from home, it was just slightly dusty. Really nice that there were towels, conditioning shampoo, and individually packed bar soaps(which would be nice for anyone going w/+1). Pluses: Wi-Fi, tv, and table and chair in the room and outdoors, gated-keys needed to enter premises and booked room- and lastly a comfortable bed.

This motel is owned by an amazing couple that made our stay feel like we were home. So cute & cozy. Perfect little garden/patio area. Clean & close to everything we needed. Would definitely stay again!

Staff is amazing! So friendly and accommodating!!!!! Room was very clean and comfortable. Here for a 2-day pottery course and is 5 min walk to studio. Maybe another 10 min walk to beach through some great neighborhoods. Check out Kafe K for incredible coffee and breakfast. I would definitely come back to this location if I were in area.

Check-in and out was very efficient and friendly, the room had plenty of electrical outlets and all the baseline amenities. The mattress was too lumpy/soft for my preference, which hindered my sleep. But the garden was sublime—a peaceful oasis. Location was very convenient to the Santa Monica shopping areas and Pier, even though I was without a car.

My expectations were not high, but it was not bad. It was quiet on the interior courtyard. The room had all the basics including a refrigerator. In the interior courtyard you could sit outside. The shower did not get hot enough though.

Rooms a bit outdated (a fresh coat of any other neutral color (or an actual color!) besides pale yellow would work wonders. Great that it had a fridge, but it wouldn't take much to stack a small microwave on top. Bed was 75% comfortable. Didn't like that the only lock on the door for while you're gone was a very basic door knob lock (there was a deadbolt for while you were inside.) Easy parking. Tried to go to the courtyard in back but the gate was locked (during hours it said it was open). ~17min to LAX at 6am.

Motel staff were lovely, let us store our bags and check in early, very friendly. Rooms were on the smaller side, but absolutely adequate with a fridge and toiletries (shampoo.conditioner/soap), an air conditioner and windows that open to let in fresh air. The rooms, linens and towels were spotless. Location is not terrible, but maybe less ideal for female travellers, as it is off a main road behind a Jack in the Box (which runs all night), in a less lit up area. Some food options nearby, as well as a Walgreens and 7/11. Walk to Santa Monica pier was approximately 30 minutes which was great. Rooms are not sound proof so take ear plugs if a very light sleeper. Overall great for the price!

This was a great place to stay. There were so many restaurants nearby, and we were able to walk to Venice Beach and the Santa Monica Pier without trouble. There is free parking out front, which ends up being worth an extra $20 per day. The other hotel we stayed at later didn't have any free parking available. The bed was super comfortable and the room was clean. There actually is an air conditioner, too! That was a bit of a surprise since a few reviews said there wasn't one. They must be new. The owner of the Motel was very friendly. He let us check in at 10am (normally it's 3pm!) and recommended some good food nearby. I'd recommend this place to anyone. It's definitely an older building, but it's not run down or falling apart. It's a good deal for the area. It was the least expensive place we could find within walking distance of the beach, and we weren't sure what to expect, but it ended up being very comfortable and the area it's in didn't feel sketchy or unsafe at any point.
