The hotel itself is clean, new, and beautiful. The front desk staff are friendly and responsive, and the restaurant has wonderful views. AND, the hotel is IN the freeway. I was on the 10th floor, and heard traffic all night, punctuated by loud sirens, motorcycles, and trucks. It’s a shame because it is a wonderful hotel - but not for anyone who needs quiet to sleep.

The main reason to stay at this property is the convenient access to UCLA. The hotel definitely shows it's age. Feels a bit run down and dingy. It was fine for what was needed in terms of location, but if you're a leisure traveller I would suggest staying elsewhere. I guess if you're only visiting L.A. for UCLA and/or the Gettty, then this would be ok. If you like the sound of the 405, this is your place! Luckily I travel with a white noise machine so I was able to drown it out, but even on a high floor at 1am, you're still going to hear traffic. Light sleepers beware, come prepared. The staff I interacted with were pleasant so that was nice.

Great staff, clean, comfortable stay. Since the property is by the freeway, there is a little bit of noise but it’s not bad. The views from the West Restaurant are amazing & the breakfast was great.

We stayed for four nights. Staff were very courteous and responsible. The hotel itself was taken care of. Room service- came daily and did a great job. Parking- isn’t immediately disclosed when booking so we were surprised at the mandatory valet parking at $40 USD per night. That said, the valets are friendly and efficient, you don’t wait more than a few minutes for your vehicle. Location- very convenient and is a quick turn onto the highway to get you to where you need to be quickly. Gym- it’s got dumbbells up to 50 pounds and a treadmill. Bare minimum, but the pool is nice. Rooms- fantastic. Incredibly comfortable beds with red lights which was great. However, you can’t open the balconies which came as a surprise. The doors are sealed shut. Restaurant- never tried it so cannot comment. Overall, a great stay and I would go back for sure.

It is important to note there is a $40 valet charge per day. The hotel is right next to the interstate so cars constantly going by. The front desk service is alright, it took over 10 minutes for front desk to answer the phone but im sure they were just busy. All around a good hotel, you definitely feel safe and there is a good bit of things to do in the area

There was not much of a view except in the bar but there is character abound in their branding. The button to turn off the headboard was sticky and the extra bath tissue was hidden away from the toilet.

Loved the pool, room service, the view and the restaurant on the top floor. What I disliked was the fact that the first room was somewhat dirty so they moved us to a different room that was up to par. Then, I noticed almost 700$ in bogus charges they charged to my credit card. After asking the front desk about it they told me that they were not aware that I had already paid for the room so they stopped charging it afterwards but I still haven't received the charges that they said will be sent back to me.

I like my room because it has a great view but I dislike that I'm obliged to tip the VALET PARKING! I felt very restricted! Overall, it was very stressful not to have the freedom to go to my car at leisure and load and unload things.

Idid not like the rooms facing the freeway very noisy...\ The toilet paper was not soft I did like the comfort of the beds\ The restaurant food was very good,the service was as well. however the view of the freeway was ugly!!!
