I’d like to offer some constructive feedback regarding our experience at the hotel bar on the night of the 27th. My family and I returned to the hotel and decided to relax with some drinks and appetizers at the bar area. We were looking forward to cocktail featuring pineapple, but were told that the kitchen had taken the supply, leaving none available for the bar.
We then ordered a Paloma, but unfortunately, all we could taste was the tequila—it was unbalanced. We also tried an Old Fashioned, which seemed to be missing simple syrup, making it quite harsh.
As we were sitting and enjoying our time, a very large group arrived. Shortly after, the bartender brought us our bill without asking if we’d like another round—even though we were planning on ordering more. When we asked about continuing, we were told we would need to wait in line behind the large group. While we understand how busy things can get, this response felt abrupt, so we decided to leave. Fortunately, another staff member did step in to assist.
Overall, the bartender appeared overwhelmed and may benefit from additional training on cocktail preparation and customer service during high-traffic periods. This could help ensure a more consistent and welcoming experience for all guests.
We appreciate the overall hospitality and share this feedback in the spirit of helping improve future guest experiences.
