In the mist, lying there all by itself is the America's Best Inn. It is safe, clean, quiet, affordable, and not to far from all of the major attractions. IE Disney, Magic Mountain, Hollywood, Universal Studios. A little, tucked away jewel.

Our room appeared to have been recently remodeled, and instead of carpeting had a smooth floor of some type of composite, which was very practical and clean. The room was generously sized and well laid-out. For a property so near the freeway, it was quieter than anticipated. There's plenty of parking, the grounds are clean and well-kept, and the staff are pleasant. About the only minor drawback is that the breakfast options are limited (coffee, juice, pastries), but there are so many restaurants in the area that it isn't really an issue. The refrigerator in the room worked well and was slightly larger than average. Overall I'm quite happy with our stay, and would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a reasonably priced option.

There were lots of gun shots 2 different times we stayed. Black mold was all over the bathroom and windows. Even if you prepay the rooms, there is a $100 cash deposit required for the remote and key cards.
