De kamer was in slechte staat en rook zeer onfris. De deurlijsten en de (douche)gordijnen waren versleten. De kamerdeur sloot moeilijk. De tussenmuren lijken van karton gemaakt. De ganse nacht door hoorde ik een man snurken in een aanpalende kamer.
