Cherrywood Lodge

"Everything about Cherrywood Lodge was excellent. We stayed in a Superior Double Room, on the 1st floor, which was perfect. Large bed, double seated reclining sofa, spacious room, with a small fridge too. Everything was clean & well presented throughout. The breakfasts were fantastic, with a good selection on the menu, and Annie & Ralph were the perfect hosts. Coveniently situated, about a 5 to 10 minute wasl in to the centre of Looe. We would highly recommend, and would love to return in the future."

"I think that this may have been the first time that the caravan was used this year, both TVs were playing up. The maintenance guy was there within two minutes and solved the problem. The caravan was very clean and ready for occupation. All the staff, without exception were friendly and helpful. We were unfortunate with the weather, very cold winds from the north, but the heating system coped well. The only adverse comment I could make is about the current trend of the use of QR codes. All park info was accessed by QR codes. I'm in my 80's and don't do QR codes. The problem is that you have to know about something in order to ask. For example, I knew the restaurant would have a menu, I asked for a paper copy and was given one. The only thing I didn't like was you had to pay for wifi in your caravan and at £5 per day I thought that was something I could do without."

"We were made to feel very welcome as soon as we entered the property. Lots of nice additional touches too such as afternoon tea and time spent y Colin recommending places to visit and eat. The breakfast was fantastic and set us up for the day. Situated next to the bridge in Looe it was ideal for walking up to Hannafore or to the town centre."

"I felt that I was treated a bit like royalty! Breakfast was carefully and beautifully prepared and served. The rooms were attractive, quiet and very comfortable. The host was attentive yet unobtrusive. Everything spoke of quality. I’d highly recommend Trehaven!"

"Lovely weekend stay. Great value and easy parking included. Great breakfast included served fresh to order and all cooked beautifully. Warm welcome lovely view of sea. Only improvement would be thicker curtains as sun came beaming in at 4am! Takes around 20-30 mins to walk around harbour to East Looe and great choice of restaurants. 100% recommended. "

"Great sea view from the room and balcony. Lovely home cooked breakfast,our host Sharon was friendly and welcoming, our room was clean and well appointed with a comfy bed. Hotel is ideally located with a relatively short walk into Looe, also with access close by to the SW Coastal path."
