"I am not sure who is giving this property 4+ stars, but I can only guess it is because they have not been here in a while. The only decent part of this hotel was the lobby, which is probably why it is in so many pictures online. The room was dirty, the AC made strange noises all night, and the beds were horrifically uncomfortable. Each place we went in the hotel smelled different, none of it pleasing. The third floor smelled like mold, the first floor smelled like urine, and the elevator smelled like weed. The only reason I am giving this 2 stars is because the front desk staff were very nice, and it is not their fault they work in a hotel that is in desperate need of major upgrades and building improvements. There is absolutely no way I would ever stay in this hotel again, and I am seriously considering NEVER staying in a La Quinta again either!"

"Pros; Lots of free, well lit parking. Easy to get to. Close to a lot of stores. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Breakfast was good. The woman who checked us in was very friendly and helpful. The room came with a microwave and refrigerator (although the frig didn't keep things very cold). The room we had on the third floor was quiet. Cons; Our room was a little small so it was a little uncomfortable. Small bathroom. Small dark shower with a slippery floor. Small toilet. Too small of a breakfast room for as many rooms as they have in that hotel. Only ice machine was in the first floor breakfast room, a long ways from our 3rd floor room. Our last morning before we checked out our key card wouldn't work. There was no one at the desk and the maids wouldn't help. I had to use an electronic kiosk to resolve the problem. I would have preferred a real person to talk to. We would consider staying there again, but next time would request a handicapped room with a bigger bath with grab bars. I'm 80 and that would be helpful for me."

"Overall it was fine. There was no real problem staying, just several small things. 1. The bathroom door had one hinge falling off making the door out of alignment. You had to shove the door to get it to close, but it would close. 2. The toilet in the bathroom seemed to have a bad flapper as it was constantly leaking into the bowl making noise and then refilling. No leaking onto the floor or anything, just noisy. 3. Housekeeping seemed to only clean the bathroom, never touched the rest of the room during our stay of 3 nights. I don't know if this is intentional, but wasn't ever communicated if it was. We had fresh towels each day, and I assume the bathroom was cleaned, but that's it. 4. Even though we had 4 people, we were consistently given 3 towels and we had to ask for another each day. 5. I may have missed the info, but I was surprised to learn of the $17 per night parking fee. I don't know why parking at the hotel requires a fee. There is ample parking, it's all self parking, and it's nowhere near downtown. Perhaps there are often events at the Denver Tech Center and parking can be at a premium? It certainly wasn't the case during our stay. 6. The hotel has a strange layout since it's on a hill, but no big deal. We requested maintenance to look into the door and toilet while we were out, but as far as I could tell, nobody ever did. All are pretty minor things, didn't ruin our stay, or even make us request a different room. But added up to a weird stay."

"True budget hotel. Needs a lot of maintenance in both common areas and inside rooms. There was water stain on ceiling and sofa. Room was very dark without much overhead lighting. There was no shampoo in my room. It took two asks to get a mini bottle. The front desk staff first handed over a conditioner thinking it is a shampoo. Room has poor sound insulation. Loud freeway noise throughout the clock. Don’t book if you are a light sleeper. Breakfast was scant but to be expected for the price. Tables were cleans and there were plenty of seats - one of few positives about this location."
