We arrived and got told wed be sent to another hotel (which seemd like a bonus at the time as this one was rated higher than the current one). The room had the bare minimum (not even a bedside table), the toilet seat was slightly broken and the wardrobe was broken. Our room had an external door which was unlocked so had to ask to get that locked (when asked they said it was!). This door let so much light in we couldnt get a nights sleep. Someone also tried to get into our room too in the night. Overall an unsafe experience. When i complained they offered to move us back to the other hotel, which we declined and got our money back through Expedia. Had to book a Travelodge instead. Do not stay here!

Worst Experience. Checking in was a nightmare, staff has bad communication skills. Had to sigh a weaver even though I booked the stay on Expedia a reputable company. Then had to deposit another £100 or can’t check in. Am thinking why didn’t I just stay at the Travelodge. Worst part when you check out you don’t receive the £100 for like 28 days, sigh in this economy. Had to do the review to warn other customers. The price is low so you think you’re saving money but you end up sending way more. A scam really

Andere Gäste haben mitten in der Nacht laut Musik aufgedreht, sodass man leider nicht schlafen konnte. Leider waren auch die Badezimmer nicht die saubersten. Was einem davor nicht gesagt wird, dass man für den Schlüssel 100 pfund kaution zahlen muss.

My room has mice.” When I told the manager. And said I would like a different room. He said If you see anymore tell me and il come and catch them. He is refusing to give me a refund.or change rooms So I’m stuck in a room with mice. And they won’t do nothing about the problem. So I’m not going to sleep tonight. I told him I had a phobia but he has decided be nothing to help me.

Ho soggiornato con mio fratello e un’amica, la camera non era particolarmente pulita, mio fratello ha trovato un ago nel suo letto (ho una foto ma non posso caricarla qui). Avevamo la camera al piano terra e ad ogni ora del giorno e della notte si sentivano persone entrare e uscire dall’hotel, parlavano a voce alta e si sentiva tutto, questo succedeva spesso a tarda notte e di conseguenza non si dormiva bene.

One of the worst rooms i have ever stayed in.
Room was affordable for one night in london so it was booked.
The pictures of the room looked nice but i was greeted with the exact opposite.
Carpets were old and dirty with edges of the floor exposed. The room smelt of an unpleasant odour. The walls had damp. The foundation of the bed was stained.
Only access to the room was a patio door which was difficult to open.
Most of the electric ports didn’t work, the TV had no remote so I couldn’t use it.
There was a fridge that was in the center of the room which was turned off, when i opened it, a terrible smell filled the room.
The aircon was loud and i assume i was adjoined to another room as there was movement that kept me up throughout the night.
I felt so uncomfortable and got no sleep.
I was asked to give a £100 security deposit for this room which is estimated i would not get back for 14 days.
I understand you get what you paid for but this is not what was advertised on the listing.
Would not recommend staying here.

I booked a room at Woodlands Hotel, only to be surprised with a £100 cash deposit requirement upon arrival. This policy was not disclosed during the booking process, which I believe is unacceptable.
As a consumer, I expect transparency in pricing and policies. Hiding such a significant requirement until check-in is unfair and feels like a bait-and-switch tactic.
I cancelled my booking and went to a nearby Travelodge instead. I'm still awaiting a refund for my original booking.
To potential guests, beware of Woodlands Hotel's hidden fees. To the hotel management, I suggest revising your policy to clearly disclose all requirements upfront

Unfortunately the room did not match how the hotel is advertised on the website. The place was really unclean, there was mildew on the bed covers and the property stunk of weed. The bathroom was shared, which was not as described and it was also extremely unclean and very poorly maintained. The room we were given was in a conpletely seperate building which was basically a house about fiften doors down from the main building, which again is not as described on the website. Facilities were reslly lacking, and didn't match the pictures shown on the website. There was no tv in the room, and the room was extremely basic. Would not reccomend this to anybody and we actually ended up leaving without staying the night as we felt so uncomfortable.

Das Hotel bekommt man gar nicht.
Es gibt auch kein Frühstück obwohl es mit angeboten wird
Dann wird man an ein anderes Hotel vermittelt und man kassiert als erstes Kaution...die man dann hinterherrennen muss.
Auch in dem anschließendem Hotel wo wir waren gab es auch kein Frühstück obwohl wir das mitbezahlt haben.
