Staff very good but on Friday one young lady had to do reception, bar and restaurant which I felt was too much for her. However she cheerfully managed to help everyone eventually! Saturday morning the lift wasn’t working!

Nice value hotel.

It is about a 15 minute walk from barking station (less if you know the way). The room was quiet and in general it was a very relaxing stay. Only issue was that the room keys tend to stop working (the lady at reception said this happens if you put it in your pocket with your phone).

The staff are very friendly and the room is nice. The only have one issue was when I took a shower, the water is sometimes warm and hot alternately.
