Hello, thanks for taking the time to review us and positively, we do take feedback, and we are in the process of redecorating the entire building, we can only do this in low season when we are not busy, but this is now being done.

Hello, Thank you for your review, we do run a busy hotel through out the year, the scuff marks are due to cases being carried they do mark the walls and we do regularly paint them, we are planning a full refresh in January when the hotel is not so busy. But we are constantly repainting throughout the year. We do serve a great breakfast, we have an in-house chef who cooks food to order, I am not sure why you thought we didn't, everyday 7 days a week breakfast is laid out next to the coffee machine, a full buffet so not sure how this was missed. Our prices are dynamic so some days it cheaper and some days slightly more depending on availability and busy times, I believe looking at your booking you booked a small double room which is a small room, and we do say this in the description, but we thank you for your good feedback and we will action these points mentioned.

Hello, Thanks for your review, to answer some of your issues, the flooring in the room is not lino but a wood floor, we took out the carpets due to dust and other issues that arise from carpeted rooms, this was a big improvement and was customer led. we did have a guest stay the night prior to managed to break the mirror and crack the window, we did mention this to you, however a fix was not possible while you were in the room and we were full so we couldn't move you, this shouldn't have detracted from your stay as it is all still water tight, it has now been changed.

Hi, Thanks for the review, I think you meant 5 mins walk to the station and not 5 miles. as we are within a mile, we do have a fresh bean to cup coffee machine in the dining hall, we offer a full breakfast with cooked food, maybe you just saw the continental buffet? but there is a chef who can cook for you. sometimes we have noisy guests, just let us know we can ask them to keep the noise down.

Hi, we actually charge less than the local cafes and restaurants for breakfast, our bread is freshly baked every morning and delivered by the local bakery, we also offer cooked food, and unlimited toasts, spreads, cereals, milk coffees and fruit juices, to buy two coffees outside the hotel will cost you more than we charge for a full breakfast.
