In general, the room was very clean and comfortable. Water was very hot and the room was very warm. However, one electric socket was broken. The vicinity of the hotel to the city center is not close, needa 1 h transportation time.

Saubere Unterkunft mit netten Personal. Subwaystation um die Ecke, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ein paar wenige Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Frühstück leider nur kalt in einer Papiertüte zur Abholung an der Rezeption. Aber alles in allem trotzdem top, man muss ja auch den Preis berücksichtigen. Würde für einen Aufenthalt bei London hier sicher wieder Station machen.

This hotel was dirty poo in toilet scum on taps unfriendly staff, lots of migrants walking around with takeaway cartons and lounging in reception, felt very intimidated and uncomfortable my friends anxiety hit the roof as we felt very unsafe, checked straight back out and booked another hotel

Das dieses Hotel überhaupt noch angeboten wird, verstehen wir nicht, auch nicht, wie man diesem Drecklsloch noch vier Sterne geben kann. Anders kann man diese Unterkunft nicht nennen. Es war alles dreckig und kaputt, es hat gestunken, die Matratzen sahen aus als wären sie vollgekotet. Das Frühstück bestand jeden Tag aus einer To go Tüte. Es waren 2 Scheiben Toast, 2 Eier, 1 kl. Butter und eine Marmelade enthalten. Kaffeepulver gab es im Zimmer, den man sich im völlig verdreckten und verkalkten Wasserkocher kochen konnte und in einer vom Vorgänger dreckig hinterlassenen und nicht gespülten Kaffeetasse genießen konnte. Wer dann aber doch dort buchen möchte, sollte wissen, dass man 50 Pfund Kaution per Kreditkarte hinterlegen muss. Cash geht nicht. Das einzig positive war die Anbindung an die U-Bahn. Die war keine 300 Meter entfernt.

I stayed in room 27 for the first two days then moved to room 24. I told the reception staff that there was a insect infestation problem in the shower unit of room 27 on 5/10/22 before I left for the day. When I returned I was told the unit had been sprayed and the electrical socket which was not working had also been repaired. I again reported there were insects in the shower and a receptionist took a not very clear video of the creature. For my last night at the hotel I was in room 24 there was no issue with that room that I found.

If this is Best would hate to stay at the worst!
Incredibly rude staff. 4 payments taken for 2 nights. Ignored by staff at breakfast - not sure they understood us or other guests. All hot food cold including bacon which was fried thin deli ham! Smallest room I have ever stayed in. Parking used by staff, no room for residents. Decor needs more than a refresh. Not what expected from Best Western.

Checked in, reception area dirty, my room was in seperate building across the road. When i found my room (At basement level) there was barely any natyral daylight, it was terribly dates, and my neighbours were smoking weed with their door open. I reported this to the hotel and told them.i wakted to check out, i had checked in 5 minutes earlier. They offered me another room but i dodnt feel.comfortable staying. The room wasnt used at all. They refused a refund! Stating as i had checked in they dodnt have to refund me. Shambolic, horrible area, dirty. Do not stay!!!

I am totally disappointed with the service given in this place. Its the worst I have ever received. Paid over £110 arrived at 9pm for 1 night stay and was told if I don't pay a deposit I can't stay. Room was so small they told me that's all the have. I challenged it and said thats not what I paid for. The change it to another and I just got fed up can't be asked . Next day can u do my refund. It will come in 3 days. Till now my refund is not back. Its pending on my credit card as they won't claim it nor refund it. Its a total shamble never again. I want a refund back and my deposit back

I booked standard doubleroom on expedia but i was given a small double room and after complaining i was told that i booked small room and i even showed them my booking details but lady at reception called ‘Anna’ just shrugged her shoulders, they gave us bit better room after complaining but it was very hot day and room was boiling and I requested a fan and i was told that they do have fans available and they will send it to our room after few hours of waiting and sitting in hot room i went to reception just tofind out that they don’t have any fans left, i had to go out to buy 1 for myself, awful customer service and not helpful staff

Mind the doors
Bit shocked to have a £50 damage deposit held not sure I saw that in the small print. Room ok, too many light bulbs and being ground floor a limiter on the window would have been good so we could sleep with the windows open. Our room was next to the main entrance and other guest let the door slam, not really the hotels fault but maybe a soft close door would be better or ban inconsiderate guests. Overall for the price it was ok, staff were lovely.
