"The whole experience was wonderful! My only draw was that with such a beautiful old property, that obviously wont have central air, they didnt provide a fan in the room. We kept the window open the entire time as it was unseasonably warm which resulted in some bug bites. A fan would've been lovely to combat the bugs and provide a bit of relief. The staff was lovely and the property quite opulent. I could sit in the window bench for hours hearing the birds. The dining was delicious. The falconry...

"Booked through Expedia to turn up at the hotel to find out my room had been “cancelled” although I’d had confirmation from Expedia to say it hasn’t. Had to then re book the room through the hotel direct for a more expensive price. Sounds like a bit of a con. Hotel is a 3 star so don’t expect the world, basics. Worst part about the hotel were the staff and the shower pressure was almost nonexistent. Great if you want extreme basics in a hotel somewhere to sleep and that’s it. Otherwise look...

"Great stay with our children. Carpet was dirty and could definitely use maintenance. It was noticeable as we have a crawling baby. Otherwise super cute place to stay."
