"The whole experience was wonderful! My only draw was that with such a beautiful old property, that obviously wont have central air, they didnt provide a fan in the room. We kept the window open the entire time as it was unseasonably warm which resulted in some bug bites. A fan would've been lovely to combat the bugs and provide a bit of relief. "Booked through Expedia to turn up at the hotel to find out my room had been “cancelled” although I’d had confirmation from Expedia to say it hasn’t. Had to then re book the room through the hotel direct for a more expensive price. Sounds like a bit of a con. Hotel is a 3 star so don’t expect the world, basics. Worst part about the hotel were the staff and the shower pressure was almost nonexistent. Great if you want extreme basics in a hotel somewhere to sleep and that’s it. Otherwise look...

"The hotel’s location is very convenient, especially if you’re planning to visit the zoo. It’s also not far from the city centre, and there’s a bus stop right outside the hotel with frequent buses, so you don’t have to wait long to get into town. The lobby and restaurant are both pleasant, and the swimming pool and gym are good facilities for guests who want to keep active during their stay. However, the pool is quite small.
