"Amazing experience, definitely worth living once ! The cabin is well kept and surprisingly spacious ! The view is amazing, you have to get up early to watch the sunrise. We also recommend you take the breakfast, it was great and generous. Great location to hike during the day on the Velika Planina, and do try all the restaurant you cross ! No real need to bring food, and they got you covered with different items you may wish in the cabin (chips, wine, chocolate, pasta, cheese..) at fair price."

"The staff members were all very helpful, but our room was very tiny and very warm since there was no air conditioning and only a very noisy fan that attempted to keep us a bit cool. The room was historical and unique, which we liked, but it had a few quirks. Having to insert (and keep inserted) a key card for the electricity to stay on was different, but workable once we understood how it worked. The staff were excellent about calling a taxi for us to get to the airport at 4 a.m., but there really is no shuttle. The taxi cost 30 euros at that time, which was a huge amount for the distance traveled. The restaurant served delicious food and wine for dinner and our server was knowledgeable and so helpful explaining the traditional Slovenian dishes and choosing a local wine to our liking."

Its location, next to the church and the river, is beautiful, with stunning scenery all around. The breakfast was exceptional, offering a wide variety of high-quality options. The room was comfortable and well equipped, with everything we needed for our stay. The staff were consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful, making us feel genuinely well looked after. I would most definitely recommend Hotel Planinka and would happily stay here again."
