Staff were friendly enough. The room for us was right by reception, so it go noisey with people coming through the door. We each had one pillow and it was the thinnest pillow I have ever been given to use, so needless to say I didn’t have a great sleepy night.

Charming small hotel in Lavorno
Our room in the main building was excellent. The staff was efficient and very helpful in locating city attractions, getting train schedules, arranging for a taxi, etc. Breakfast was especially nice. For our last night we unexpectedly needed to stay an extra day, and asked if that would be possible on the spur of the moment. The manager graciously said yes, but we had to move to an annex section ("Navy piccolo"), accommodations were not as nice as the room in the main part, although it was hardly their fault we ended up there. All in all, a very good experience.

Great Friendly Accommodating Staff, great hotel.
Very knowledgeable, friendly, expert hotel staff, Chiara checked us in with the utmost professionalism, great explanation of the surrounding area, buses, etc...She made our stay enjoyable.
