Great location just opposite the ferry. Great link to Liverpool. Room was spotless and comfortable. Breakfast was perfect. Very welcoming and super friendly staff. Such a lovely family! Great value and 100% will return!

Enter as a stranger and leave as a friend. Couldn’t ask for a better place.
Breakfast was the best.
Dave and company were great, so helpful, and made it feel like home for the week.
Also a great location being steps from the ferry.

Stay here approximately 4 times a year. That says it all. Great staff and owner Dave is very obliging a cooks a great breakfast. Perfect for short stays. Lovely comfortable beds and spotlessly clean rooms.
Getting a bit old now, a shower mat would be a great addition to have to prevent accidents/slips.

Dave is so friendly and helpful. As the notice at reception says, "arrive as strangers, leave as friends". He and Colette (who helps with rooms, etc) showed me how to get around unfamiliar travel systems (easy when you know how!)
Breakfasts were good, often accompanied by good chats. Thanks Dave, I'll be back!

Lovely and very friendly hosts. Breakfast plentiful. B&B is on the other side of the river. Short uber ride did the trick. Quiet location.
Old newspaper building so has character. The hosts have been doing it up over the years. Parts of the B&B could do with a bit of updating (eg paintwork on doors), but most importantly it's clean and spacious. Bathroom was new. Very nice breakfast area. Had a lovely short stay.

Weekend stay
The hotel staff are so friendly making us feel welcome. It is convienent for getting around, has parking and the breakfast is amazing. Would definately stay here again on next trip to Liverpool, may not be luxurious but the welcome makes it my choice.
