Couldn’t fault a thing. Room was very spacious and clean. Gorgeous newly installed shower room which was spotless. Breakfast buffet had everything you needed. Will definitely stay again.

we booked this hotel but there was an issue withour room so they kindly moved us to a suit at the prince of wales just down the road the clifton hotels usualy very good for our short stay but to our delight we had a suit with a lounge & a super king bed & a huge bathroom it was great couldnt fault it thank you the royal clifton

Room was ok paid over 250 pounds for 3 nights thought we might of got s front bedroom maybe with a seperate lounge area with it being myself partner n daughter at 9 years of age the staff were lovely would defo go here again

Had a lovely stay. Most of the staff were very helpful. Parking was right outside the front door. My room was fairly near yo the lift as i am disabled. £5 per night Parking is worth it. We will go back in October half term.

Classic victorian hotel. Lovely big room s. Interesting building. Good location. To hot on 3rd floor in the heat this summer. Not helped by restriction on window. A small fan. Was supplied but only took the edge off. Room good but corridor looked like the last decorators didn't bother putting down carpet covers.

The Clifton is an old hotel but has been decorated throughout to give it a clean and modern appearance. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Our room was on the 1st floor but would have asked for a higher floor to be a better sea view. The furniture was dated but clean and abundant. The bathroom was clean with a powerful shower over the bath. The shower head was loose and needs attention. There is paid parking at the hotel and in front on the promenade road. We did not have any meals at the hotel. The cost of our stay was average. Location was excellent. We would definitely stay at the Royal Clifton Hotel again. John Woolley

Nice hotel and good staff. We were told to check in at 3 but room wasn't ready, took another 40 minutes!! Room was nice but pillows very hard. Breakfast was disappointing, bacon had a strange taste hash browns overcooked mushrooms very greasy.

Madie was very helpful on reception even recommended us a great local Indian restaurant . The hotel is old and tired . The room was clean , no house keeping and we stayed 3 night . But if you ask they will get things for you . Good value for the price.

Arrived at 5pm & looked ok but that did last for long as on inspection of the room the previous male guest had put body fluid on the wall & not been noticed by the cleaners. I complained to the manager & had to wait till after 12am(Midnight) for another room. Expected a swimming pool but the pool is been refurbished..(Not in advert) Some hallways stunk of cannabis.(So much for the non smoking policy) Really needs a massive paint job outside as it looks like Munsters castle and nothing like the pictures. Breakfast was awful. Bar staff rude & uncooperative. Never again shall i visit this run down dump ever again.. You have been warned..
