Nice room great location

Nice environment, little bit noise coz surround by bar, great location, within the town center, staff is nice and helpful, room is clean and tidy

The room is spacious, clean and conforable. However, staff can be more polite. We can't understand local accent very much and the staff showing impatient while we are confirming some informations. And there is a bar next to the hotel, our stay is friday night. There are someone singing and shouting outside but I think hotel can't controll this.

Property was closed by the court (Baliffs) and had to scramble for a room in town. Pretty much no rooms available due to a BIG soccer match in Liverpool that evening. No alert from Expedia that the hotel was no longer availble. It was closed down on April 9, after we made the reservations.

The property is under possession we couldn’t gain entry but Expedia don’t seem capable to understand that! Refusing to refund payment for a hotel we were not able to access! Phone lines to hotel are disconnected no way to contact anyone. Turned up to a notice on door. Yet I still get sent a review for the hotel. You are having a laugh Expedia

Heywood House Hotel, Liverpool is closed.

The hotel has been repossessed, we were unable to gain entry and left last minute with nowhere to stay in a busy city. Very disappointing as the hotel was repossessed on the 9th April 2025 and nobody told us.

The hotel I booked though you had been repossessed and was closed leaving us in a very bad situation with car park booked and paid for restaurants booked deposits booked and so on. I hadn’t been given any notice of this situation at all really not happy and want to know what you are going to do about all this stress and inconvenience caused to my wife and I. PERFECT!

A little older hotel, the set up or design of the is a little odd, I think it used to be a bank or something. But the staff was GREAT and the location is PERFECT! The Beatles statue is only about 3 blocks down on the pier.

Hotel has gone bust!

Arrive to a locked up hotel. Security on door advised us the hotel has been repossessed! Tried calling hotels.com but got recorded message saying office closed. Managed to check in at nearby alternative so will need refund from hotels.com
